William Hewson Alcock (1842-1912)

William Hewson Alcock was born into a Primitive Methodist family at North Somercotes in Lincolnshire. He was converted in about 1868 and entered the Methodist New Connexion ministry in the same year. Alcock served as Correspondence Secretary at the 1905 Conference.
