Marie Riefstahl Nordlinger's Proust Collection

Marie Nordlinger (1876–1961), Madame Riefstahl, was a friend of Marcel Proust and has been considered to be a model for some episodes featuring Albertine in À la Recherche du Temps Perdu (1913-1927).

The collection, donated by Nordlinger in 1974, comprises editions of Proust's writings and many secondary works bearing the signature of Marie Nordlinger.

The general stock of the Main University Library also contains more than 400 Proust editions and critical works.
