Edward Walker (1800-79)

Edward Walker was born at Almondbury near Huddersfield, Yorkshire. He was converted under Methodist influence as a young man and entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1826. He exercised an active circuit ministry for forty years, retiring finally to Cheetham Hill in Manchester where he died.
