Thomas Grills Vanstone (1851-98)
Thomas Grills Vanstone was born in West Putford, Devon, son of Samuel Vanstone and Eliza (maiden name Grills) and was converted in 1871. In 1875 he entered the Bible Christian ministry and five years later volunteered to pioneer the Connexion's missionary work in China. After twelve years overseas he returned to circuit work in England
