Jonathan Turner (1791-1847)

Jonathan Turner was born at Trowey in the Chesterfield circuit. He was converted in 1809 and entered the ministry in 1811. Poor health forced two interruptions in his circuit ministry, compelling him to superannuate in 1819 and again between 1823 and 1825. He served circuits in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. He died at Torquay after a protracted illness on 22 March 1847.
