Richard Tabraham (1792-1878)
Richard Tabraham was born at Ely, East Anglia. His family moved to London when he was ten years old and he was converted under Methodist influence at the age of eighteen. He began to preach in 1813 and was accepted for the Wesleyan ministry two years later. His active circuit ministry lasted fifty-four years and took him to circuits in England, Scotland and the Shetlands.
Tabraham became a supernumary in 1869 and settled in Hackney, London.
