Richard Rymer (1809-1907)

Richard Rymer was born at West Haddesley in Yorkshire, of devout Anglican parentage. Rymer was converted at the age of fourteen under the influence of Methodist preaching. At the age of sixteen he became a local preacher and entered the ministry four years later. Rymer exercised an active circuit ministry until superannuation in 1869, whereupon he retired to London.
