Robert Heys (1791-1857)

Robert Heys was born in Liverpool and was converted as a youth. He entered the Wesleyan ministry in 1812 and was active in the circuit work despite recurrent illness until 1851 when he was compelled to superannuate due to a breakdown in health. He retired to Liverpool.
