Ann Griffith (1785-1834)

Ann Griffith was the wife of the Wesleyan itinerant Joseph Griffith. The couple had at least one child, a daughter named Ann who died a short time before her mother.

Griffith was a member of the Methodist society for thirty-two years. Her daughter's death affected her greatly and might have contributed to her own demise which occurred in Wrexham after a severe illness on 4th November 1834.

Griffith was a close friend of Mary Tooth, the long-time companion of the famous Mary Fletcher.
