Edward Ford (d.1839)
Edward Ford was converted at the age of twenty and entered the itineracy in 1824. A well-educated man, his public ministry was effective.
Ford exercised an active circuit ministry in Scotland, England and Wales, until he was involved in an accident in which his wife was killed. Ford suffered a fractured leg and he died as a result on October 16th 1839.
Ford was placed back on trial by the Conference of 1825 for entering into trade.
