Jane Cooper (1738-62)

Jane Cooper was born in Hingham, Norfolk. At the age of twenty, she moved to London where she started to attend Methodist worship and was converted in 1758. Cooper impressed John Wesley to the extent that after her death, he published an edited collection of her letters. He referred to her as 'that saint of God...all sweetness, all gentleness, all love...'
