William Bell (1795-1822)

William Bell was a native of Louth in Lincolnshire. He was a Wesleyan Methodist local preacher for seven years before volunteering to serve overseas. He left England for the Gambia River in West Africa in 1821 and died in March 1822 of fever shortly after his arrival.
