Jonathan Battishill (1738-1801)

Jonathan Battishill was a noted organist and composer of church music, glees and some theatrical works. His wife, the former Miss Davis, was before her marriage a singing-actress at Covent Garden. He was an acquaintance of Samuel, son of Charles Wesley.
