About BrowZine

BrowZine is an app (and a website) which enables you to browse, read and monitor current scholarly journal content on your mobile device (or browser). BrowZine works by bringing together articles in Open Access and subscription databases into a single place. You can save your favourite journals, view the tables of contents, and read articles as new issues are released. BrowZine is for current awareness and browsing, not focused research or searching. It complements Library Search which should be used for focused research or searching.

BrowZine works by uniting articles from databases into complete journals, then arranging them by subject on a library-branded newsstand. The result is a new way to browse, read and monitor scholarly journals. With BrowZine you can:

  • Browse new journal issues in one place
  • Read new articles online on your computer, tablet or phone
  • Email articles in one step
  • Download and save articles for offline reading
  • Send articles to Zotero or Mendeley
  • Open articles in other tablet apps
  • Share citations and your comments on Twitter or Facebook

What is BrowZine Account and My Bookshelf?
My Bookshelf is your personal bookshelf where you add journals you want to monitor. After you have created a BrowZine account and logged in, your content on My Bookshelf is synced between BrowZine on your computer (BrowZine Web) and your iOS/Android device.
