- Monday: 12noon to 5pm
- Tuesday: 10am to 5pm
- Wednesday: 10am to 5pm
- Thursday: 10am to 5pm
- Friday: 10am to 5pm
- Saturday: 10am to 5pm
- Sunday: 12noon to 5pm
The last entry to the Library will be at 4.45pm.
This is to ensure that all visitors are evacuated safely and securely.
Normal Reader Services opening hours are 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday (open until 7pm on Thursdays).

Events and exhibitions
Our current and forthcoming events and exhibitions can be viewed on the website.
Photography is allowed within The John Rylands Library, except in the exhibition galleries. You must not use flash or tripods anywhere in the building.
No dogs are permitted in the Library except assistance dogs.
