Within the UK

Within the Libraries North West Interlending Partnership (NWLIP):

We supply book loans under the terms of the NWLIP agreement which states that both sets of transport costs are met by the borrowing library.

Please indicate on your request that you are a member of NWLIP and include your BLDSC Billing Account number. If you do not do this we may charge full rates.

If you are requesting a photocopy, we will charge at the current standard BL rate.

Thesis loans are charged at twice the current BL loan rate. This is because each thesis is unique and requires special handling.

Within other areas of the UK and The Republic of Ireland:

We supply loans and photocopies of articles on request, provided that you quote a reference number and your BLDSC Billing Account number.

We charge at the current standard BL rate. Thesis loans are charged at twice the current BL loan rate.

Libraries who use WCRS are welcome to make loan and photocopy requests. Satisfied requests will be charged at the current (intra-continental) Shares rate.

Requests from libraries which are not members of NWLIP and do not have a BLDSC Billing Account number may still be accepted. Please contact DS / ILL for further details.
