What you should bring
You should bring the right number of copies of your thesis or project for binding, in the correct sequence for submission purposes. Please ensure that you have checked everything thoroughly before bringing the thesis to us!
We recommend that our customers use a good quality paper on which to print their thesis. A paper which does not curl excessively can help to achieve an improved binding outcome and appearance.
We cannot print your thesis for you but the Joule Library provides access to 55 networked PCs with CD rewriters, networked printing facilities and there is an IT Services help desk based in the Library. There are also three self-service photocopiers, two black and white copiers and one colour copier located near to the Thesis Binding Service.
Please make sure you are clear about your guidelines for how your binding should be done. Each Institution has different requirements for submission - bring a copy of your guidelines with you if can when you bring your binding to us.
Please note that we are unable to accept work or to offer a collection service outside of our opening times. If you are booking work in with us, please allow plenty of time before the Service closes in order to avoid disappointment. Contact us in advance for further details.
