Collecting your card
Unless you hear otherwise, you can assume your application has been successful and you may come to collect your card from the Customer Services Desk at the Main Library.
- Cards may be collected Monday to Friday until 7pm and until 4pm at the weekend.
- You will need to present some form of ID.
- We may need to take your photograph on collection.

Using your card
Your library card allows you access to the Library and, if applicable, allows you to borrow books. Your card can also be used as a photocopying card and can be encoded for this use at most of the Customer Services Desks.
Access to the Library may not be permitted without your library card.
