Information and advice on Link2Lists reading list software
The University of Manchester's Resource List Management tool, Link2Lists, allows you to manage and update your own resource lists throughout the academic year.
Link2Lists works in a similar way to software such as Delicious, allowing you to tag resources from the library catalogue and other external online sources as you find them, and then create and edit your lists by dragging and dropping your saved items within the resource list software interface.
Want to get involved?
If you would like to get involved and begin creating and modifying your own lists please contact your Academic Engagement Librarian. We will arrange for you to be sent a list creator/publisher invitation, and organise for you to receive the brief training needed in order to start using the system.
Already using the new Link2Lists?
If you are already signed up and using the new Link2Lists and would like to recommend the system to your colleagues, please ask them to contact the Resource Delivery Manager for an invitation to create/publish, and to organise training.

Linking from Blackboard to Link2Lists
You can create a link from your Blackboard course to the appropriate list in the new reading list system, by adding a "reading lists module". You can do this for yourself (See the link below), or you can contact the Library's Resource Delivery Manager.
To see if there is already a list for you on the new system, point your web browser to www.readinglists.manchester.ac.uk - in the search box you can search either by module code or by keywords from the module title.
If your course list does not show, please contact the Resource Delivery Manager.
