Director Euros Lyn at the Dr Who sleepover
As part of the Museums at Night campaign, The John Rylands Library was turned into the spooky back-drop for a Dr Who night where children and their families dressed as their favourite characters enjoyed a double bill of Dr Who episodes; Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead.
Alumnus of The University of Manchester and director of both episodes, Euros Lyn was on hand for a question and answer session. The sold-out session also included a torch-lit tour of the Library, a TARDIS puzzle and a sleepover.
Jacqui Fortnum, who led the event said “Parts of our gothic library are spooky even during the day – so our first ever sleepover was quite an experience”.
